Home page
The home page appears to be a list of notes for what you are planning to add to the website. I think this might actually be a good thing for several reasons:
1. you can keep track of your progress... which items have been completed? which still need to be done?
2. We said that the home page should be the last page you do - so as long as it looks like this, you know you are not finished... ;)
3. you can choose several of the items from the list here and create links to those pages once they are finished. Note that you do not need to link to everything from your home page - just to a few to encourage your website visitor to explore further...
Bible /Dictionary / Literacy/Grammar
these three pages are unplublished ... I am curious, do you have a Dictionary that is already produced? is it a pdf file, or is it a project in Flex or WeSay or already on Webonary? WHat is the status of the Bible translation... are some books approved for publication ?
What about literacy materials... what is available at this point?
SONGS
You have two songs on this page, but they need:
+ better introductions, and
+ should have meaningful titles in all the site languages: english, French, Nabt ...
If possible you should try to come up with a thumbnail image for each song; (eg, the artist, or a picture of the cultural event at which it was recorded...)
If you will be adding more songs, you should organize them into play lists.
Here are some things you could write to introduce the songs and to name them meaningfully :
talk about the event at which it was recorded... was it a cultural event? what is the name of the event, when and where did it happen? who were the artists? what style of music is it? What is the song about?
GALLERY
(and Workshop with Fr Baba ABUGRI) ... I notice that these pictures look like they are all at the same event. Was the workshop a separate part of the event shown in the Gallery pictures? You should remove any duplicates from the Gallery page if you are making a distinction between the one page and the other. Instead of 'Gallery' try to find a short name that describes the event, like 'Nabt Project awareness day 2021'
Use captions to give more information about what is happening in the pictures... EG, 'The small group discusses their ideas for literacy with Fr. Baba ABUGRI', 'The awareness day was attended by more than 30 representatives of the 8 core villages of the Nabt community' ... if there are notable persons in some of the pictures it may be good to mention them... eg, 'the Chief of the Santobu district discusses the needs in his district'
Add a text content block to give some of this information in the form of a short paragraph about the results of the event...
